Safety Starts Before the First Cut
When people see utility vegetation crews working, they often notice chainsaws, bucket trucks, and specialized equipment. What they don't always see is the preparation that happens before any work begins.
At ACE Tree Enterprise, safety begins long before the first branch is removed.
Planning Every Job
Every project starts with a detailed assessment.
Crews evaluate site conditions, identify potential hazards, review work zones, and discuss the safest methods for completing each task efficiently.
Planning allows everyone on the team to understand the day's objectives and potential challenges before stepping into the field.
Daily Safety Meetings
Communication is one of the strongest safety tools available.
Daily tailboard meetings provide an opportunity to review:
Job site hazards
Weather conditions
Equipment inspections
Emergency procedures
Crew responsibilities
These conversations ensure everyone starts the day informed and prepared.
The Right Equipment Matters
Using specialized equipment designed for utility vegetation management helps crews perform work safely while minimizing risk.
From bucket trucks to forestry equipment, every piece of equipment plays an important role in maintaining safe operations.
Safety Is Everyone's Responsibility
Safety isn't limited to supervisors or managers.
Every employee contributes by:
Watching out for teammates
Following established procedures
Reporting hazards immediately
Maintaining situational awareness
Strong safety cultures are built when everyone participates.
More Than Compliance
Safety isn't simply about following regulations.
It's about making sure every employee returns home safely at the end of the day.
That's the standard we strive to uphold on every project.
